Melanie and Doug arrived on Friday night. We had a nice (but typically crazy) night of hanging out on the boat. The marina was pretty much full since it was a beautiful Friday afternoon / night. It is so nice to see Mel and Doug!!!
Saturday we had a great visit from Cindy, Boyd, and Cindy's parents Carol and Eli, who very generously took us to lunch at the Chart Room. It was really nice to meet Cindy's parents.
Unfortunately it was not a nice day -- cold, windy, foggy, rainy. So we hung out on the boat for the rest of the day and watched movies. Melanie, Doug, Bill and I went back to the Chart Room for dinner. Today it seems to be a little nicer. Andrea is on her way down to hang out for the day today.
Tomorrow we will work on a few of the remaining boat chores before we head to Foxwoods tomorrow (YEAH!) for my (big 3-0) birthday. We'll be back on Wednesday afternoon. We thought we would have the teak done here at Kingman - but they are booked until the middle of June. These past few long trips have really worn down the teak. The rest of the boat looks great - especially since we polished the stainless, etc. And of course we need a new tender. For the next few weeks we are ok because we will be at the dock either here or in Quincy. But after that....
